Ready, set.. launch (and a great offer for startups)

Welcome to the first job site dedicated exclusively to Marketing and Sales roles for WordPress businesses.

There are a ton of job sites for WordPress developers but none for business roles so I thought I’d fill the gap. Timing is good too: the ecosystem has matured and is becoming increasingly commercial, which is both good and bad. I’ll share my thoughts about this some other time, but I think most agree that the ‘build it and they shall come’ approach doesn’t quite work anymore.

WordPress developers, freelancers. agencies and hosting providers need to start being more proactive about marketing and sales or risk being left behind.

This is true too: the best tools for growth are not the shiny MarTech platforms promising 1,000% ROI. It’s the people: Marketing and Sales folk that understand the tech, the market and can put together solid strategies for growth.

With this in mind, here are the job categories covered by WP BizDev:

  • Business Development
  • Content Marketing
  • Marketing
  • PR & Influencer Marketing
  • Product Management
  • Sales
  • SEO / SEM]
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Business Strategy
  • Analyst

Let me know if I have forgotten any.

Worth mentioning the job types too. I’ve included a couple that will cater for startups with limited budgets. They may be looking for a co-founder or offering an internship.

  • Co-Founder
  • Consultancy
  • Freelance
  • Full Time
  • Part-Time
  • Internship
  • Project-Based
