The Marketing Team Lead is an important part of the continued success of our flagship product, Ninja Forms. Our team is fairly small, so this is absolutely a player/coach role. The Marketing Team Lead needs to be able to define strategy, carry out parts of that strategy, and guide and mentor the members of the marketing team.
They have a great eye for detail but are also able to zoom out and create overarching strategies for growing the Ninja Forms free and paid user bases. On a day-to-day basis, they develop, implement, measure, and adapt marketing strategies and initiatives in collaboration with Ninja Forms marketing & product team members.
Perhaps most importantly, they lead the Ninja Forms Marketing Team with empathy and a people-first mindset. This includes having regular meetings with each member of the marketing team about their professional goals, how they’re performing, what life is throwing at them, and how the organization as a whole can serve that team member better. Again, empathy is really important.
Success in this role is measured not just in terms of sales and user growth, but also the growth and fulfillment of marketing team members.
