Deciding whether an LTD – a lifetime deal – is a good way to grow your customer based is a much harder decision.
I’ve heard both sides of the stories and there are compelling arguments either way.
What I’m curious about is what the best strategies are to a) limit the support burden from LTD customers and b) what has worked best to upsell a standard product, so moving a customer off the LTD deal.
