Registration is open for the event featuring over 40 speakers across four breakout tracks: Perform, Maximize, Monetize and Innovate. The event will take place online on March 19 for APAC and North America, and on 21 March for the EMEA timezone.
The expert keynote will be a talk by Zack Kass, OpenAI’s former Head of GTM, on “Navigating Our AI Future.” WP Engine will also unveil their latest innovations, including its new artificial intelligence (AI) offering.
Breakout sessions will feature agencies and brands including Brainstorm Force, Elementor, NitroPack, Google, PeachPay, Code & Theory, Granite Digital, Illustrate Digital, StrategiQ, americaneagle.com, WEBDOGS, and drewl.
3 sessions growth Pros should attend
The Business of WordPress keynote promises to be interesting. The panel – familiar faces in the community – will share personal stories and talk about how they each turned smart, entrepreneurial WordPress solution ideas into successful businesses:
- James Hall – Director, Partner Account Management, WP Engine
- Sujay Pawar – CEO & Co-Founder, Brainstorm Force
- Miriam Schwab – Head of WordPress Relations, Elementor
- Lesley Sim – Co-Founder, Newsletter Glue
You should attend the other keynote too, AI and the future of WordPress development. It’s always good for a Marketer or Sales person to keep up with the latest trends in tech. The bonus for this session is that you will hear from Jason Cohen, WP Engine’s Founder and Chief Innovation Officer & Founder, and Amber Hinds, Founder & CEO, Equalize Digital. Jason is one of the more insightful leaders in the industry – check his blog, A Smart Bear, and you’ll understand why. Amber is an expert in her domain and doing all of us a big favor making accessibility… accessible via her products and services. No doubt that the other panelists will be as interesting.
Optimization and CRO are the main themes of the More ways to monetize With Woo session, presented by Sarah Wells Manager, Product Marketing, WP Engine and Sean Owens Head of eCommerce, at Granite Digital. The sessions promises that “you’ll learn why Woo is the perfect platform for expanding your offerings”, which is an argument I have made many times before, including in my Shopify Plus Pricing: Why You’re Better Off With WooCommerce Instead piece for Convesio.
Attend these 2 workshops too
These are not listed on the agenda for some reason. Sam Brockway, Community Manager / DevRel at WP Engine kindly shared them in WP Minute Slack. She is running the second one:
- Let’s talk about the business of Agency
- Referral-Based Marketing for Developers: Building Your Network
An opportunity to network with WordPress devs
Once registered, you can complete your profile and connect with fellow attendees. This is a big event so you can expect people from most of the know WordPress brands to be there, as well as hundreds of solopreneurs eager to talk about their projects.
A request for developers
It looks like the event will be running on Cvent. There’s nothing wrong with that apart from the crazy URLs. Can someone build the same in WordPress?
