Version 1.0 of Gravity SMTP supports SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, and Brevo, as well as other SMTP services and API-based services via their Custom SMTP feature.
It also includes a user Email Logging feature to keep track of all emails sent from WordPress.
Integrations with Microsoft 365, Gmail, and AWS are in the planning phase of their Roadmap, along with a number of other features being considered.
The UI looks polished and usable, which is important for a function that many non-technical users struggle with.
No free version in the pipeline
There’s not shortage of free SMTP plugins in the WordPress Plugin Directory, which may be part of the reason Gravity SMTP is being offered to paying customers. At this stage, at least. Competing in the directory is tough but Gravity Forms brand equity would certainly help.
There are no ‘cards’ relating to a free version in the Roadmap. It’s not being offered as a (paid) standalone product either.
