Rae Morey, in her latest article highlighting this on The Repository, explains that the release of the report last year was almost entirely overshadowed by the #WPDrama kicking off at WordCamp US, and that little has changed since then.

Research from The Peterson Institute for International Economics shows that companies with women in leadership positions are more profitable than those without.

Another earlier study by the same organization together with EY – Is Gender Diversity Profitable? – concluded that:
An organization with 30 percent female leaders could add up to 6 percentage points to its net margin. This in-depth new study analyzes results from approximately 21,980 global publicly traded companies in 91 countries from a variety of industries and sectors.
